History of the department
The Department of
Higher Mathematics and Physics was formed by merging the departments of Physics
and Chemistry, Higher Mathematics, and Informatics, as per the decision of the
Academic Council of the Institute, by order No. 054 HU on August 24, 2022.
Leading scientists such as Anvar Timurovich Maksudov - Candidate of Physical
and Mathematical Sciences; Gayrat Ashurovich Rajabov - Candidate of Physical
and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor; Abdukahor Burievich Buriev -
Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor; Uguloy
Khaitovna Khaitova - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate
Professor; Akmal Zaynidinovich Osimov - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical
Sciences, Associate Professor; Sangin Alievich Aliev - Candidate of Physical
and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor; Sakhivnazar Sharipovich
Rakhimov - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate
Professor; Umeda Khurshedovna Usmonova - Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Senior
Lecturer, have all contributed to the department. The current head of the
department is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Amon Akparovich
Rakhimov.
The department has made
significant contributions to the training of highly qualified scientific
personnel, as in 2020, under the supervision of Professor and Academic of
Education RT Mansur Nugmonov, department lecturer Amon Akparovich Rakhimov
defended his dissertation on the topic "Individualization of Independent
Work of Students in Mathematics in the Credit System of Education at a
Technical University."
At the Department of
Higher Mathematics and Physics, the following lecturers are conducting
scientific work:
1. Marhabo Mahmudovna Rakhmatullaeva on the topic
"Improvement of Mathematical Preparation of First-Year Students in the
Credit System of Education" under the supervision of M. Nugmonov, ready
for defense.
2. Azamjon Akramjonovich Khakimov on the topic
"Didactic Foundations for the Development of Creative Abilities of Future
Technology Teachers" (using the example of the subject Drawing) under the
supervision of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Azizov A.A., at the Khujand State
Institute named after Academician B. Gafurov, ready for defense.
3. Mukaddam Ganikhonovna Kayumova on the topic
"Development of a Computer Program for Knowledge Testing with Auxiliary
Capabilities" under the supervision of A.T. Maksudov - Candidate of Physical
and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Khujand Scientific Center
of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, ready for defense.
4. Mokiniso Abdumadzhidovna Rakhmatova, Associate
Professor of the department, on the topic "Application of Computer
Programs in Teaching Mathematical Analysis to Students of Technical
Specialties" under the supervision of Amon Akparovich Rakhimov - Candidate
of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Higher
Mathematics and Physics, KPITTU.
Main activities of the department:
The
department conducts classes on the following subjects: Higher Mathematics,
Mathematics in Economics, Mathematics for Engineers, Linear Algebra, Algebra
and Analytical Geometry, Computational Mathematics, Probability Theory and
Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Analysis,
Informatics, Physics, Biophysics, Physics of Electrical and Magnetic Phenomena,
Physics of Electrical and Semiconductor Phenomena, Architectural Physics,
Physics of the Environment and Building Structures, Ecology, Information
Technology. These subjects are taught to all full-time and distance-learning
bachelor's degree students.
At the master's level, the following subjects are taught: Mathematical Modeling
in Professional Education, Advanced Chapters of Mathematical Analysis,
Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, and Informatics in various
fields.
The department also runs preparatory courses in the areas of physics and
mathematics for clusters 1, 2, 3, and 5.
The
department is equipped with 3 educational laboratories, 1 research laboratory,
and 1 computer classroom. Laboratory work is regularly conducted by students,
master’s students, doctoral students, and candidates for academic degrees in
natural and mathematical sciences in these laboratories:
